Barcelona Bootcamp is a high intensity week long fitness bootcamp, set in a stunning setting just outside Barcelona, Spain. The brand is part of the Boosten Group of companies which focuses on the luxury travel market in Barcelona. After a six month product research and testing period during which time the company meticulously created the perfect product for the luxury marketing, the company was ready to launch with a full-on marketing push in January of 2019.
The concept of the Barcelona Bootcamp is to set attendees on the path to achieving their fitness goals by putting them through an intensive, week long health and fitness regime. The courses are run by highly qualified instructors specialized in various areas of fitness. Although strict, the bootcamp is set in a luxury environment at a beautiful villa close to the sea, and with high end cuisine prepared by professional chefs. This is a no-nonse service, helping attendees to achieve immediate results, and better yet, helping them with their mental health as well, setting them on a path to a healthier lifestyle.
The primary goal of this project was to get as many leads and sales as possible at the lowest CPA possible.
The Barcelona Bootcamp was a brand new product in a competitive industry. Building trust and online reputation was a major factor in ensuring website visits would convert into sales. A new product is always challenging to launch, but directly entering the luxury market meant a particularly big challenge to gain market share for a product at a high price point with a brand that at the time was relatively unknown.
We researched the business and its competitors intensively, and worked with the client on their website copy and online reputation to help them build trust with website visitors. Our primary goal in the beginning was to leverage their USPs, i.e. trainers with excellent qualifications and experience, and online reputation of their already established villa and catering businesses.
We highlighted many of the “wow factor” elements of the retreats, focusing on the imagery and creating a story around the product. To build trust, we featured detailed testimonials from previous customers.
The digital advertising strategy focused on our goal of sales and lead generation by targeting clients low in the buying funnel, and matching to the most relevant keywords and search terms. We developed strategies and implemented them based on their “likelihood to convert” instead of focusing on traffic alone. This ensured we were getting the best possible return on the budget spent.
The results speak for themselves. By creating a strong online reputation from the beginning we built trust with visitors which helped them to convert. The campaigns were a huge success, generating 50% increase in company-wide revenue in just the first 4 months.
